Jim’s Experience in TV Mounting Began in 2006. Back then, Tv’s were rather large in size and very heavy. Jim learned how to replace bulbs in TV’s which , back then, was a daunting process. Jim has always been an audiophile. He learned how to configure stereo systems and connect devices to Tv’s for optimal sound in the 80’s. Jim has learned various construction trades i.e Drywall, Concrete, Brick work, and most recently Electrical. This has allowed him to make precise measurements and have extensive knowledge of what’s actually behind a wall. Like most installers, Jim learned on his own home first, then transferred his knowledge into the field. Upon taking a job installing satellite Tv in 2015, Jim learned another part of the trade, wall fishing. This allowed Jim to begin installing electrical outlets from the attic if necessary. It also allowed him to learn coaxial and Network cable pulling and termination. Overall, Jim has an extensive background in Computer networking, satellite tv installations, PC repair, Electrical outlet repair and replacement as well as adding new outlet locations. Jim has always been a very neat and organized person. He is a problem solver and a critical thinker. He loves a challenge. Once he sees a project, he immediately puts a plan together to get it done, precisely and up to all codes. In all, Jim has gained all this knowledge in a span of over 25 years. If it can be done, Jim can do it. Upon the request of his lovely wife, Alice, Jim took a risk and created Connect Tech Services in 2016. The company was just a side hobby that saw Jim install a TV for friends and family at first. Jim decided to advertise on Thumbtack while he was working as a Satellite Tv installer for DirecTV. Once Alice,saw the calls increasing for his services, she decided to increase the marketing to FB Marketing and Connect Tech Services became a 10k per month company in a matter of months. As a result, Connect Tech Services is creating a training video to help those DIY’ers see their projects materialize from inception to completion. This training is also for Entrepreneurs that want to start up their own TV Mounting business.
